(Eminem's Real Name)

Eminem was born in Kansas Detroit City 17 October 1973 ( his mother was only 17 years old). He grew up in different successive disavantaged districts. His family got enough to survive with the welfare help.

He never met his father. His mother Debbie spent all days swollowing tablets including Tylenol (drug) which she let him have too

When he was 9 years old, he discovered " hip hop" due to his uncle Ronnie who was the same age.

Three years later he helped his mother for the education of his step-brother Nathan.

But at school or in the street, he was suffering from the attacksof other children and when he was 15, he was cruelly beaten up. He will remain 9 days in coma. He will take revenge from the attacker in a song which title is: "Brain damage"

The same year he was proposed to beginn again for the fourth time the " fourth time " but he prefered to stop school definitively.

The sooner as his mother asked him when he would decice to find a job. She had stopped working and was spending all her days playing bingo.

One day, was fired at but he was not hurt and he didn't even go to the police because such a thing was usefull there.His uncle Ron, whom he loved commited suicide where as his uncle Tadd killed his brother-in-law.

Eminem lived in the street for a while, then he became a cook with a very low salary.

He had been living with Kimfor ten years an eventful relationship. His daughter Hailie-Jade was born on 25 th December, 1996. Despite all difficulties he faced, Eminem was fond of " Hip Hop "music which gave him the power to go over everything.

When he made his debut he was laughed at by the Hip Hop community in Detroit which was mainly black. This community advised him, as a white man, to sing rock and roll.

In 1997, something was broken in him. He had faced to much and Eminem " killed " himself by replacing his caracter with " Slim Shady ", his venoumous alter-ego, his Mister Hyde. It helped him to stand his life and even to appreciate it.

At this time he lived with Kim his wife in a very dandgerous district( they have been stolen 4 TV sets and 5 video recorders in 2 years). Then at last Andre Young called " Dr. Dre " believed in him and produced his songs.

Dr. Dre is a famous Hip Hop music producer ( he produced " Snoop Dogg"...)

He got an immediate success with the album "The Slim Shady L.P.". 12 days were enough for him to be famous and to make from this album one of the most sold one in the world.

But because of one sentence: "I just found out my mom does more dope'n I do" in the hit "my name is..." his mother claimed 10 millions dollars.

Eminem whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers just explained what he endured in his childhood.

Now that he has told the worst he decides to change again his way of expressing himself and he now belongs to a group which name is "D-12" and he is still playing rap music.

For all this I admire this singer who succeded in a very hard world with little help only.
